a Cruski (Cruzer x Skip)
Pop is a puppy of her Norrbottenspets parents Jasper and Ava. But Pop is also a beautiful tie between our Norwegian Buhund Skip (who died last Christmas) and his lady friend Cruzer, an exceptional sweet Jack Russell. Weren’t they both been castrated when they met each other 9 years ago, they certainly had a lovely daughter who would looked like Pop: a miniature Skip with Cruzer's designer coat.
Pop poops and pees in our huge garden - fine by me. There are two reasons: she is used to do that, and she
doesn’t feel secure enough yet to do it outside our premises. During walks she
only has eyes for her surroundings (everything is new to her) so she forgets
to answer to nature’s call. On our way back in the car she sits with her legs
crossed. At home she spurts to the grassy carpet to make water and to produce a fox turd. Hold number one and two is
very inconvenient when your en route. Today we had a breakthrough: Pop peed in
a puddle. That reminds us of Cruzer who always makes sure there’s enough ‘lemonade’ in pools along the way.
Pop is een
pup van haar Norrbottenspets ouders: Jasper en Ava. Maar Pop is ook een mooi
verbond tussen Skip en zijn hartsvriendin Cruzer. Waren zij beiden niet
gecastreerd geweest toen ze elkaar 9 jaar geleden ontmoetten, dan had hun love baby er vast uit gezien als Pop: een
miniSkip met Cruzers jasje.
Pop plast en poept nog in onze grote achtertuin - ik
vind het prima. Er zijn twee redenen voor: ze is het zo gewend en ze voelt zich
nog niet zeker genoeg om het in het wild te doen. Tijdens het wandelen verkent
ze alleen, wat inhoudt dat ze op de terugweg in de auto met gekruiste poten zit.
Bij binnenkomst spurt ze naar de grasmat om daar haar behoefte te doen. Ophouden
is onhandig als je lang onderweg bent. Vandaag was er een doorbraak: ze plaste
in een waterplas net als Cruzer doet. En iedereen op de hei weet dat er dankzij Cruzer altijd 'limonade' genoeg is.
